Diane Aja Scholarship is awarded annually to an active VOTA member.  The recipient receives a scholarship for the AOTA member rate admission fee to attend the upcoming national conference.  If you wish to attend the 2023 AOTA Conference please answer the questions below and email with your name, email address and phone number. 





She will receive the student rate admission to this year's AOTA Annual Conference in Kansas City.

Allison answered the following questions by February 16th, 2023 and submitted via email to

1. Tell us about yourself, including the strengths and talents that have and will contribute to the growth of VOTA.

2. Describe one goal for professional development as an OT/OTA provider, and how you would use the experience to further this objective, were you selected to attend the annual conference.

3. The AOTA strategic principles include steps to help AOTA succeed including building the capacity for occupational therapy professionals to provide effective services, as well as promote the value of occupational therapy, and lead the profession by becoming inclusive. Please describe ways in which you empower occupational therapy practitioners to engage as advocates for the profession. Describe means in which you contribute to the Vision of 2025 by advocating for the well-being and improvement of quality of life for your clients. And lastly, please discuss ways you work to ensure inclusiveness in your daily practice.
